Hi, anyone know how to connect to a speaker group via Bluetooth?
I’m trying to play audio to a speaker group from my iPhone via an app which doesn’t have chromecast functionality (so I’m connecting via Bluetooth).
Bluetooth doesn’t recognise the speaker group as a device, it can only see each google speaker as seperate devices and I can only choose one to play through.
Any ideas for a solution to either get iPhone to recognise the speaker group as one device, or how to connect iPhone to multiple Bluetooth devices? Thanks!

Hey K4te,
I wanted to reach out, and see if I could be of any help with setting up a speaker group. I found a helpful article with more details on that. Please let me know if that helps, or if you have any questions from here.
Best regards,
Jake

Hi Jake, thanks.
I have a group set up and it works well most of the time.
The issue I want to solve that when I play audio from an app on my iPhone via Bluetooth (eg my audiobook app) the speakers show up as individual devices and I have to just pick one to play through. I’m wanting to find out how I can connect to the group/make the group show up in a Bluetooth device list, rather than as its seperate components. Or, I guess, how I can instruct Google to open the app and play the right book.

Hey K4te,
Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. Please note that connecting to the speaker group via Bluetooth is not supported because you can only connect to one device at a time. As an alternative, you can cast your podcast app on speaker group - just make sure that your app is a cast-enabled apps like YouTube Music and Spotify.
Here's a link that might be helpful to you: Play media from Chromecast-enabled apps to your speaker or display
Hope this help.
Cheers,
Muddi
