The Google home app is a complete shambles. It constantly fails to set up my Google speakers correctly. I can't add speakers to groups. It keeps saying speakers are not on the same WiFi network, when they are, so therefore I can't change settings on the speakers. Often I can't control the speakers volume and it just shows me a picture of an upside down ice cream. I've reset all the speakers and deleted the home in the Google home app... And boy was it a MASSIVE challenge to get the app to add all my devices back! Error after error after factory reset after error! Not just on one of my Google devices, but ALL of them! I spent most of the day trying to set them back up again! Google, this is plainly a ridiculous situation for your customers! It shouldn't happen and you NEED to do better! These kinds of things have been going on for YEARS without resolution! Oh and I forgot to mention that Bluetooth on my nest speakers just randomly keeps disconnecting, says it's connected, tells me something went wrong with Bluetooth etc etc etc, again, this has been going on years without a firmware update to fix the issue, despite sending report after report back to Google. I'm almost at the point of just getting rid of the speakers and finding another solution!

Hi, I feel for you! It's a pain in the ass!
And it seems like it's getting worse every day.

Hi folks,
Thanks for reaching out. I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. A few questions: what Nest speakers or display are we working with? Are you using Android or iOS? Is the Google Home app updated? Have you been experiencing any Wi-Fi network-related concerns recently?
I look forward to your response.
Regards,
Juni
