Hello, I have two Google Home Minis and paired them both as left and right speakers. I connect the pair via Bluetooth. If I don't listen for a while, and decide to play something, from time to time, right speaker looses audio. If I reconnect Bluetooth or reboot the right speaker, it works. I am rebooting/reconnecting 5-6 times daily.

Regards,

Lazar

Hi Lazar Hristov,

Thanks for reaching out. Oh no! That sounds very frustrating having to reboot your right speaker many times. I would be more than happy to look into this issue and find a solution. First, I have some questions to have a better understanding of this situation:
  • Just wanted to double check, are the speakers currently in a speaker group together?
  • Have you tried readding/deleting the speaker group?
  • Can you try to do a Factory Data Reset on the right speaker? Are there any improvements?
I look forward to your response, thanks.

I have this problem too. I’ve paired two speakers (not in a Group) and connected them to my chromecast. The goal was to have a surround sound set up for my TV. It works briefly but if I change chromecast apps, then I lose the right speaker. None of those things listed solved the problem. What else can I try?

Eh. I gave up on the speaker. It’s in a desk drawer now.
