I'm considering upgrading my various existing models of home speakers to a few Nest Hubs scattered about the place. But I'm wondering if there are any ideal speakers I can buy on the side that I can tell google to play music through? Like my place isn't big enough that I need every speaker to have google assistant on it, I would basically always be near one of the hubs, but to get a great soundscape I can't imagine the hubs themselves will be sufficient.
So yeah, my question is this: Do you guys have any recommendations of additional speakers that fit this description?

Some of this depends on what your audio expectations are. The Nest Hub doesn't have the greatest sound IMO. I think the Nest Mini actually sounds a little better. The Hub Max sounds better than either of those, and the Nest Audio sounds better still. Two Nest Audios can be stereo paired together. The Nest Audio sound wise is very close to a Sonos One at roughly half the price. You can pair the Google device with bluetooth speakers, but my experience with that setup was hit or miss (mostly miss). In our house we you a combination Of Hubs, Hub Max, Minis, and Chromcasts hooked to TVs for various speaker groups to have music play while we are doing houshold tasks or entertaining. It work for us. If you are looking for more of an audiophile expierence these devices are probably not the way to go. At least in the states right now most of the Google stuff is on sale for good prices. Grab some see what will work for you, and send back what doesn't.
