Spotify Ads causing audio drops?

Hi,

I have both the Google Mini’s gen 1 & 2, I love playing music on them and they function nearly perfectly aside from the fact that every time an ad plays on my spotify account, they stop playing all together and I have to disconnect and then reconnect them to get it to work for maybe another 10 or so minutes before it starts again.

My mini’s are both up to date as well as my Spotify app, they both function perfectly fine otherwise I’m just unsure how to fix this issue.

Since you mentioned disconnecting and reconnecting the Nest Mini devices, I'd like to confirm whether you disconnect them from the power source or disconnect the Spotify account. In addition, I’d like to ask the following:

• Is this the first time that you’re experiencing this situation?
• What's the firmware version of the affected Nest Mini in the home?

For now, I’d suggest the following steps: 

• Ensure that both your mobile device and the Google Home app are up-to-date with the latest software.
