I have a spotify duo account for myself and my wife and three google speakers.
I am having trouble setting up my spotify duo and google accounts so that I can play our different spotify accounts on different devices at the same time.
currently if i am listening in the car and my wife asks the speaker to play at home, the music stops in my car and plays at home instead. I have read that it should be possible to play a duo account on two different devices at the same time by logging our accounts into the devices separately.
we both currently have google home accounts and both currently have separate spotify accounts linked via spotify duo. i have also set up the voice learn separately for both of us.
currently my google account is set as the manager of the google home account but I also have my wife's google account added as a manager on the account as well. they are both linked to spotify on the music section of the google home app. when i open google home in either of our phones, both of our accounts are present as managers on the google home app.
How do I set the google home app to default to my wife's spotify account so I can play my music in the car uninterrupted?
I have tried the instructions i've seen in posts on this community but its not working.
To summarize:
I have a spotify duo account. i am trying to change my google home to be controlled by my wife's spotify account rather than mine so I can play my account in the car separately.

Hi oflow,
Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your music streaming concern. When you invited your wife to your home structure, was she able to set up her music service? Try to remove and add her account again, and follow the email that she will receive to set up her account. Check out the helpful link below to know more about it.
Share a home & devices in the Google Home app
Regards,
