Spotify: Sound stutters on track advance or seek, with bluetooth speakers

When using Spotify Connect to cast to my Google Nest Hub from iOS or web, at the start of each track it plays the first two seconds, restarts the track, and then plays the track normally. So anytime a new track comes on I hear the first two seconds twice. This used to happen only with my friend's Android phone and now it happens on my iOS phone and Spotify app on MacOS.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, still experiencing this. It used to happen only with some phones and then it started with all of them. Some software update on the phone perhaps?

The problem happens when I use the Google Nest Hub with bluetooth speakers. Please see the attached videos for a demonstration.
