Spotify will play for 10 seconds then stop

So I open Spotify, connect to my speaker, it plays for 9 seconds then the audio stops, if I hit the next button it skipped like 4 songs then plays 9 seconds and stops.

A few questions: did you link your Spotify account to your Google Home speaker? Are you playing/streaming music via voice commands? Also, when did it start happening?

Give these steps a try:

• Make sure your devices are connected to the same network and within 15-20 feet of your router.
• Uninstall and reinstall your Google Home and Spotify app.
• Unlink and relink your Spotify account from your Google Home app.
• Give rebooting your speaker and router a try to refresh the connection.
