Rose7, are you still having problems connecting your Google Nest Hub to your network? If so, make sure you're using a regular Google Account and your connecting your device to a private home network. Make sure  Local network access for the Google Home app is enabled on your phone settings. Here's how: Privacy > Local Network > Google Home app. Also, try rebooting your Nest Hub, phone and router to refresh the connection. Reinstalling your Google Home app might help too.
