I am testing by playing a YouTube video through Bluetooth via my Android phone. When a single nest speaker is used, there is no audio delay. Perfectly synced to the video. However once I stereo pair two nest speakers there is a significant audio delay.
Once the stereo pair is created there is also no more option to adjust the lag as well. Can this be fixed, or is this at least a known issue to Google?

Hi Mrfatbush,
Thanks for reaching out.
Could you please tell us what if the 2 nest speakers are the same model? If yes, how many seconds of delay are you experiencing? Does it also happen on other media like radio and other music service?
We'd love to know more details so we can start some steps.
Best,
Princess

Hi, they're the same model but different colours. The delay occurs whenever it's audiovisual content. Just to clarify I refer to delay between seeing the video on my phone, and hearing the sound on the speaker. I would say it is about half a second?

Hi Mrfatbush,
Thanks for clarifying. Inherent delays are common, usually for speakers it's within 0-40ms. Try to unpair your speakers and connect it back to see if this would make any changes.

Hey there, just tried factory resetting both and repairing the two speakers and now the delay is now less than 0.1 second. Much much better but still noticeable when watching someone talk.
Once paired there doesn't seem to be the option to change the delay anymore. Is this just a technical limitation of the hardware, or can future software updates help?
I'll add that a single non paired speaker has zero noticeable delay. So something seems to happen once paired?

Hi Mrfatbush,
Thanks for your response. Delays are normal especially when paired same with connected to Bluetooth as we have also tried it on our end. Thanks for your input as this would be very helpful. It would be extremely helpful for us to improve our products and we encourage you to send us feedback.
Best,
Princess
