Stop changing google Nest Voice! Revert back NOW!

Worst thing is, can't change it back! It also happened a few months ago but then was able to change back to the default voice but that option is removed. I don't want a different voice, especially not when it is worse sounding and forced. Cant even understand half she says due to a speech impediment she appears to have. FFS.

Me too similarly: this morning the usual male voice of my google assistant is different, totally changed by system,  not by me; here is Italy.

The tone is different than before and I don't like it much, but as male voice in settings this one only is available 😞

I'll try to find answers as to why you can't change it back but in the meantime this is likely the reason: Gemini-powered Google Assistant answering with new voice 

As for changing it back, do you not see the options under the Assistant Settings for the voice "colors"?

What are your region and language settings?

Yes but the options are changed by google. You can only change from female to male. All other voices are deleted by google. Everyone wants the original voice back they have been talking to for 5-10 years. It's not only me.

I let the Google team know and they are aware  of this thread and the other posts surrounding the change and lack of voice options for some.

Same for me! The old pretty robotic funny voice has been fired ! I can only choose between Red and Orange two new voices more human but definitely less funny! I don't like them!
