I have an original Home mini I received from my phone carrier as part of a promotion many years ago. But at the time, I traveled extensively for work and never activated it. I recently found it, still new in box and unopened. During the initial setup process, I'm required to download the Google utility app to setup the device, but the play store states "This app isn't available for your device because it was made for an older version of Android." I can't seem to get around it. Is there a way for me to still activate and use my Mini without this step? Or another way around it? I've already downloaded the Nest app as well and it reverts me to the Home app which sends me to the Utility app. Please help, I'd like to use my home assistant.
