Stop closing threads so quickly!

Please stop closing threads after only 24 hours.  Do you not realise some of us aren't glued to our computers 24/7?  It can take up to 3 days for me to read an email.

Sorry for any confusion or frustration. If threads have no activity on them, we close those to keep content fresh. We are happy to keep threads open for longer as long as you let us know. Please let me know if you have any questions from here, as I would be happy to review.

Surely you can assume someone might take a few days to reply?  I don't see why I have to tell you every time I ask a question.  I can appreciate you closing threads, but leaving it for say 5 days would be better.

The admins closing the threads before I have a chance to reply.

If you left threads open for 3 days instead of 1, people would have a chance to respond.

You need to realise some people aren't glued to their computer so might take more than 24 hours to reply.  3 days would be more sensible.  Most things I ask about, I can't continue the conversation because you've closed it.  Making this forum absolutely useless.  No other forum has a 24 hour limit!

So that's only 5 days provided I answer every 24 hours or less.  Not convenient at all.  Some people have a life outside emails.
