Stop nest from talking back

Hi, I'm new to this forum so forgive me if I entered the wrong category.

This is what's happening, I can't stand the assistant talking back to me confirming every single command I give. For example:

"Hey Google, turn off the TV"... "Sure, turning off TV".

"Hey Google, set reminder/timer/alarm"... "Sure, reminder/timer/alarm set".

And so on. I just want it to do it without repeating my command; just a chime would suffice.

Is this possible? I looked everywhere and I can't find it.

Since this thread hasn't had activity in a while, we're going to close it to keep content fresh.

We have no news to share about disabling the response of Nest speakers whenever you use the voice command, but we're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take this as feedback.
