Stopping speech responses on IOS

It seems this problem has been resurfacing constantly and it’s quite annoying as an IOS user.

I’d like to stop or replace with a chime, annoying responses to simple commands such as “turn off this light”. When I have found articles online it has a specific method of getting around the problem, yet it doesn’t work on the IOS Google Home app.

Please help it’s getting very annoying!!

Unfortunately, there isn't a direct option to replace voice responses with chimes in the Google Home app for iOS. However, I truly appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue improving our products to meet your needs.
