Streaming ABC ivew using Google Home

We used to be able to stream ABC iview using the commands to our Google Home Max.  ABC iview now have instigated logins to watch their content.  

When I ask Google to play ABC iview it advises to link the account in google home, problem is that the option is not showing up.

I know I can cast but the children use google to stream by voice so this is not an option.

That certainly isn’t the experience we want you to have. Let’s take a look at it. For us to further isolate, we’ll be asking a few questions: did the issue first happen after ABC iView initiated the login? Are you all not able to give voice commands to play ABC iView? If so, it would be best to reach out to the ABC support team for more information and other helpful tips.

In the meantime, it would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first to see if this changes things: 

1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Did the issue first happen after ABC iView initiated the login? - Yes

Are you all not able to give voice commands to play ABC iView? -  Google asks to connect the account  in google home but it is not an option under video settings

If so, it would be best to reach out to the ABC support team - I believe that the option needs to be added to videos, maybe google needs to reach out to ABC Support Team.

Already rebooted 3 times.

Google Assistant is open-source software, so they are free to modify it as they see fit, and that could create any bugs or issues that only ABC would be aware of. Our devices rely heavily on the functionality of third-party apps, programs, and devices.
