When you say "TCP", what do you mean?

It’s the TCP app for bulbs and sockets etc

Ah. There seem to be just 5 other threads in this forum on issues with the TCP app, with possible solutions on just a few; maybe you can find clues there to help your situation:

These don’t relate to the Google home not connecting to the TCP for bulbs and plugs. It would also seem that Googles customer advice line is still saying it’s a problem identified in 2022 which they are dealing with!

Hi folks,
Thanks for the help here, MplsCustomer.
SCam, thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your TCP concern. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. A few questions: when did it begin? Are you using Android or iOS? Is the Google Home app updated? Are you able to control it using its native app?
I look forward to your response.
Regards,
Juni
