Tasks are not read as part of what's on my calendar today query

When I ask my speaker, "Hey Google,  what's on my calendar today?", it doesn't mention tasks, it only tells me the events on my calendar for today.

I have to separately ask it for my tasks.  Is there a way to get the assistant to tell me both my events and tasks on my calendar for today when I ask that question?

Hello Emacred,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

To help you organize and manage your to-dos in one place, Google Assistant and Calendar Reminders will become Google Tasks. You can view and edit your existing reminders (now tasks) using Google Assistant, Google Calendar, or Google Tasks.

Tip: You can continue to ask Google Assistant to set a reminder on your mobile device or smart display. The reminder will be saved as a task in Google Tasks, and you'll get a notification when it's time to complete the task.

You can view and edit your reminders as tasks in:

  • Assistant
    • “Hey Google, show me my tasks.”
    • “Hey Google, show my reminders.”
  • Calendar
  • Tasks in:
    • The side panel across Workspace on your desktop
    • Mobile apps

Hope this helps.

Best,

Princess

Thanks for responding, but I know about Reminders moving to Tasks and how Tasks and Events work.  I'm asking how to ask my Google Assistant one phrase, "Hey Google, what's on my calendar today?" and having it tell me BOTH Events AND Tasks for the day I'm asking it in one query and response.  Please re-read my original post with this in mind.
