I rely heavily on the "broadcast" feature throughout the day to communicate with others across our home. However, a few days ago, it stopped working properly. When I say, "Hey Google, broadcast [my message]," it responds with "Okay, broadcasting," but the broadcast itself, once it hits all the devices with it's joyish jingle and then just silence, no words, no computer voice, nothing.
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot or fix this?
We’ve invested in 10 of these devices specifically for broadcasting around the house, and it’s our primary use for them. Without this feature working quickly and reliably, they’re essentially useless to us.

It's a problem that should have never happened, but for some reason a multibillion-dollar company like Google forgot to renew a certificate, so all Chromecasts are **bleep**ed. The only thing you can do is wait and don't do a factory reset.

So, figuring that it had to do with the SSL certificate, do you think that system also applies to Google Home products?

I want to share that this still has not resolved itself. I randomly worked last night but is still failing each time.
