I’ve had my Nest Hub and Nest Mini both working perfectly fine until I got a new internet modem. I factory reset all devices and they connect fine to the wifi but can’t get past google assistant step, this error code keeps coming up- The operation couldn't be completed.

(kGSKErrorDomain error

-83902.)

I have checked the language, been on the phone to Telstra to fiddle around with the wifi, factory reset devices multiple times, deleted google home app and reinstalled. When changing my internet I also got a new google mini nest and SAME CODE.

I can’t find any suggestions anywhere that help!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Hi Olivia2,

Thanks for posting and sorry to hear about this situation you're getting through the setup. No worries, help's here! Let's try the next troubleshooting steps:

  1. At the side of the Google Nest Mini, unplug the power cord and wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in and wait until the four LED lights light up on top.
  2. Repeat step one, 10 more times. (complete total of 11 times)
  3. After plugging in the power cord back in the final time, wait a few moments for the device to reset. It will announce "Welcome to Google Home" to signify that it's ready for setup.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Axel.
