Similar to another Community members (techyporcupine) issue with his Nest hub.
My Google Mini Speaker says "Connected" I do some setup steps on my phone, and I get to the setting up screen, where it says, "There was a problem setting up your Google Mini." I have tried resetting the device multiple times, along with setting it up with different devices, no luck.
What's annoying, the speaker was initially working and setup. I deleted my Google Home because I was trying to sync my newly installed Nest Gen2 wired doorbell. But that wasn’t connecting to my Google Home. And one of the suggestions was to delete the Google Home. I created another home and added my smart plugs but can’t add this speaker.
I've gone through the advance Trouble shooting tips below as well:
At this point I’m thinking the speaker is broken, and I need to get a new one.

Hi scm72,
Thanks for posting.
I appreciate all the details you've shared as well as the steps you've tried to fix this. Aside from your Google Nest Mini, do you have other Google Nest speakers installed on the same network? Have you tried connecting it to a different Wi-Fi network?
We'd love to know more of it so we can start some steps.

Thanks for getting back to me. This is the only speaker I have. My upstairs neighbor has a Mini and a Sonos speakers connected to the same network. Which never conflicted with my mini. And they're issue free with their speakers.
This is the first time this has happened, because I've had to reconnect my mini a couple times and it wasn't an issue reconnecting.
It's like I'll have to pay for another mini. Becsuse everything I had connected prior (Kasa Smart Plugs, Nest Doorbell and 2 Chromecasts) works without issue.

Hi scm72,
Thanks for the additional info. Just to make sure we're not missing anything, the account you're using is a regular Gmail, is that correct? Also, is there any way for you to connect the Google Home Mini using a mobile hotspot?

I've tried pretty much everything suggested in these blogs. Rhe last thing I did was try connecting to a Hot Spot. And it initially seemed promising because I was going through the installer. But I received the same error at the end. Which I'm still baffled by. I've had to reconnect this Mini plenty of time before and never had this issue. It seems like Google is blocking it.
