Total mayhem

Hey folks,

 

I'm a total believer in tech like this and i had a good setup untill now.

Just ordered new speakers and screen to add to an already cool setup but i'm ready to burn the lot...

Can't add any new speakers to my wifi speaker setup, getting errors, try later, ... etc
Uninstalled the home app on a tablet, can't reinstall.. 

Simply put i'm destroying everything that was working fine, probs gonna return the whole lot of crap next week.
Nothing i try is working , in fact it's getting worse.
If i look back on things i would go back to a single heating knob, 1 effing big speaker and lights that go on with a knob.. knob.. knobb !! Good lord this is frustrating !

Help..

Knowing my mobile devices aren't the latest i went ahead an got a tab s7+
All of a sudden everything works ....
Why is that and why is Home different on all my older devices ?

Thanks for reaching out. I am glad to hear that your issue has been resolved and that getting a new device seemed to be the trick.

 

As technology updates, older phones and devices sadly get out of date in terms of functionality and technological functions and slowly start to not work as they once used to, which affects products or apps as well. That is also why we recommend that users update their Google Home App when a new version is released.
