Hi, I recently disturbed my smart speaker as I changed my ISP. The speaker was working fine before the change. I reset my speaker and attempted to re connect it to Google home. It’s an LG Smart speaker Wk7. It connects fine when adding it but it gets to a point where it states updating software. During this process it times out. When I request something the device just states please log in through the Google home app. I don’t know how to do this. The device states signed out. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you for guiding me on this. I have spent hours trying to remedy this. Initially I was informed by Google it was because my Google account login was not in Gmail, so I created an account to log in. Tried again, no fix. I feel better knowing it’s not just me, if that makes sense. I will also escalate to Google using the Intel in the thread. I have an LG new tv & that isn’t the best too. No more of my money is going to LG, ever.
