Trouble with my speaker

I have I i phone and my sister in law has a google pixel does anyone know why her phone is just automatically connecting to my speaker?

If your devices are all connected to the same Wi-Fi network, you may want to check these settings:

Make sure the mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or signed in or linked to the same account as the Google Nest, Home, or Chromecast device.

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
3. Tap and hold your device's tile tap Settings , or More tap Settings .
4. Under General, tap Recognition and sharing.
5. Turn off Let others control your cast media .
