Tuya Smart app won’t show up on google home not understanding why.

I have a smart lock for my house the lock is connected to TUYA SMART. When I go on the Tuya app I see my door lock. It connects greats. When I go on the Google home app. I follow instructions. I even read some of the community conversations, about how to link. But it just doesn’t link. I don’t understand why. On the Tuya app I linked it to Google says it’s linked but I don’t see my smart lock.

This is not the experience we want you to have; let us help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Were you able to have them linked before? Were there any recent changes made? Which country are you located in?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

1. Unplug the power cord from your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
3. Restarting your phone might also help.
4. Make sure all devices are in the same Wi-Fi network.

Also, you can try these steps if you haven’t yet:

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap Devices Add Works with Google .
3. Select the manufacturer of the device from the list.
4. Follow the in-app steps to complete linking.
    

Another way to find the smart home  partners is by:

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap Settings  Google Assistant Home control.
    

Try to link your Tuya smart lock and if the behavior persists, tell us what the error message is.
