Two way conversation over nest speakers in the home

Hoot_Foghorn

Hi All,

I have multiple nest mini speakers in my home

I know how to broadcast. This question is not about broadcasting

I would like to be able to have a two-way conversation where I would use a command like "Open a channel to the office speaker" or something similar.

Now this is a forum, Google techs might not listen in. So how do I get this feature request on the developers' slate?

Thanks,

Hoot

We can escalate to a support team member yes , but devs will only implement changes if they get feedback requests so that they have data to support the workload required for the change (regardless of how little work there may be , as in this case I agree)

Two ways, one is via voice, hey Google, send feedback, and give your suggestion when prompted.  Second is through Google home app,

Open the Google Home app Google Home app.

At the top right, tap your account.

Tap Feedback and then tap the type of device you'd like to submit feedback for.

To display available emails, in the "From:" section, tap the arrow on the right. Select your email address.

In the feedback summary, write a brief description of your issue.

Be sure to check the box for Screenshot and System logs.

To submit feedback, at the top right corner, tap Send .

I recently purchased a Nest Hub 2nd gen. It has speaker to speaker calling on board. Seeing that I tried it with my existing speakers. It works like a charm

Hey Google, call living-room speaker (provided that is the name of the speaker)

So thanks Google for implementing this feature.

Send feedback through the Google device or your phone, devs don't read the forums only support people.

You can accomplish what you are asking about by using duo to call the nest speaker , or you can broadcast to that specific speaker, but not an open two way direct link at this point l

Not entirely true. Product Experts have Google staff managing them. You can bump it up through your handlers.

I know this, I've been a google drive product supporter for  a while...
But in any case, Do you have an URL that I can use for this feature request?
