Hi i have a new kogan tv with chromecast built in. I have 3 other chromecast connected to other receivers that i have added to a speaker group. I am unable to add or see the chromecast built in to this group. When looking at the device in google home the tv only shows device features as ambient mode. The audio and video features are missing. Is there a way that i can connect the chromecast built in to the speaker group like the other chromecast?

Hey there Downunder,
I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that Speaker Group issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, since I know pairing 3rd party devices can be a little finicky. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran

I have the same issue.
I have a Sony kd65x85j with built in chromecast version 1.56.292394 and iOS google home version 2.56.107
I didn’t have any issue setting up the device but I factory reset it and I can’t remove the old device from my home without making a new one because it can’t connect to the old one.

Hi there, I have the same issue with my Stream TV Soundbar with Bang and Olufsen Audio. All my firmware is up to date and able to connect to Google Home individually. Please help!

I also have this issue with a TCL Android TV. It appears to be the same issue posted here, but unresolved: https://github.com/philipplackner/CleanArchitectureNoteApp.git
I am using up-to-date 2.59.33.w, as of this moment. The TV is a TCL with Android TV, model #55S434
I have the same symptoms as show in the post I linked above: The TV does not show up as a choice for adding to an audio group. I can cast to the TV as one would expect. The device shows up on the main list of devices. All other operations work as they should.
