Hi Nitin,

Thank you for reaching out. I am sorry to hear that your Google Nest Hub Max is not connecting or working. I understand your concern and would be more than happy to help find a solution. First, I have some questions regarding this situation.

  • Just confirming, this is in regard to the Google Nest Hub Max, correct?
  • Which country are you located in?
    • Supported countries for the Google Nest Hub Max include: Australia, Canada, France, Japan, United Kingdom, United States (except Puerto Rico)
  • What issue are you having? Could you please provide me more details and information?
  • Are you seeing any error messages? What do you see? Where do you see it?
  • Could you please try to do a reboot and Factory Data Reset on your Google Nest Hub Max? Are there any improvements?
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings.
    • Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.

I look forward to your response, thanks for your patience!

Dear Mr Frances,

Thank you for your response. I got the Google home max smart speaker couple of years ago via amazon.us from U.S.
Currently I am residing in Kuwait.
It was working with the Google home app till couple of months ago. I was using it as a bedroom speaker for music and also controlling my lights.
Recently I switched to the new 5G Nokia router and hence had reconfigured all devices to connect to new router and since then it's not adding to Google home app. I tried  resetting speaker. It just says that "it's manufacturerd in a different country hence may have issues connecting" and then it exits.

Now I can't use my speaker at all for which it was intended. Except use like a Bluetooth speaker which I don't want to or may be connect it to TV and use as a normal speaker.....

Hi Nitin,

Thanks for your reply back as well! I see, that is really unfortunate that your device is not working! Since Kuwait is not a supported country for the Google Nest Hub Max, there is nothing we can do. The router is probably unique to Kuwait as well, which is why the Google Nest Hub Max can tell it is in an unsupported country and will not work for you anymore.

I apologize that there is nothing I can do to help resolve this issue. As you stated, you could just use the device for Bluetooth, and hold on to it until you move to Google Nest Hub Max supported country.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience caused.
