Hello,

Recently while trying to update my Hk enchant 800 soundbar i disconnected it's wifi. Now when I try to reconnect the soundbar with Google home app, it's asking me to download a Harman kardon utility app first. And not connecting to the soundbar. Any help will be appreciated

Hey Virtue001,

Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. Please note that we have very limited support on third party speakers like Harman Kardon. You might need to reach out to them for better assistance.

Speaking on behalf of our Google Home speakers and displays, some countries need to download device utility to set up the speakers. Users may get this message in the Google Home app when they try to set up a device that hasn’t been connected to WiFi for some time or hasn't been connected to WiFi at all.

Let us know if you have questions about your Nest speakers and display, and we're happy to lend a hand.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hi Virtue001,

Thanks for posting. To clarify, are you trying to set up your Harman Kardon to your Google Home app and add it to a speaker group? What Google Home/Nest speakers do you have?

Keep me posted.

Thanks,

Dan
