Unable to control one Google Home/Nest device with another

I'm unable to control one Google Home/Nest device with another.  I have two Nest Minis and one Nest Hub.  One mini is in the living room the other in the guest bedroom.  The Nest Hub is in the Master Bedroom.  I have all three in a speaker group in the Home app.  If I try to set a timer for the living room mini from the hub, the timer will go off on the hub where I'm located.  However, If I ask the hub to play music on a particular speaker it will.  I'm aware that alarms can only be set on the device you're speak to but does that include timers?  Additionally I am able to broadcast on all devices.

Sounds like your system is working as expected.  You can't remotely set a timer or alarm, only the device you are speaking to (hopefully this changes in the future).
