Unable to find and remove 9am alarm

Aususer

Purchased a nest hub max and Google hub in Australia. Moved to New Zealand.

Now, despite dates, times, languagesm addresses, billing profiles changed an alarm goes off at 9am.

When I look for it in the evening, it's not there or on. I turn it off. It comes back!

How can I reset the hubs and upload NZ firmware?

Kenny

Hi @Aususer,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your Google Nest Hub and Google Nest Hub Max even after following basic troubleshooting. Here are some additional steps you can take to remove alarms you can't find on your devices:

Using the Google Home App:

  1. Open the Google Home App: This app manages all your Nest and Google Home devices.
  2. Select Your Device: Locate and tap on the Nest Hub Max or Google Hub where you think the alarm might be set.
  3. Access Audio Settings: Swipe up on the device screen or tap the gear icon (Settings) in the top right corner. Look for a section labeled "Audio" or "Alarms & Timers."
  4. Delete Alarms: In the Audio or Alarms & Timers section, you should see a list of all the alarms currently set on that specific device.
    • Tap the "X" icon next to each unwanted alarm to delete it.

Here are some additional tips:

  1. Restart Devices: Sometimes a simple restart of your Nest Hub/Google Hub and your phone/tablet running the Google Home app can resolve minor glitches that might be hiding alarms.
  2. App Update: Ensure you're running the latest version of the Nest app. Updates often contain bug fixes and performance improvements related to login functionality.
  3. Factory Reset (Last Resort): If none of the above solutions work, consider resetting your Google Nest Hub and Google Nest Hub Max to factory settings. This will erase all its data and settings, including Wi-Fi information. Note: Before resetting, make sure you know your Wi-Fi network name and password for re-setup.

You can also check the following guide to Set and manage alarms on your Google Nest speaker or display. In addition, please check the following articles if you decide to Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays and to Set up your Google Nest or Home speaker or display.

Please keep me posted.

Best,

Mario
