I am trying to set up a Nest Hub for my mother in her retirement home. I can connect the device, but I am unable to link the device to the Google Home app to set it up. I have tried using 2 different Android phones and and iPad (on iOS).
I am using a Gmail address and I have loaded the most recent versions of the Google Home app.
Does anyone have suggestions for how to complete the setup of this device?

Retirement homes can have various types of Wi-Fi setups. You'll probably need to talk to whoever administers the Wi-Fi network to see if you can even get appropriate access.

Hey folks,
Thanks for the support, MplsCustomer and RachelGomez123, we appreciate it.
GlenD1, additionally, you can ask the retirement home administrator if there's a way they can adjust some settings on the router (AP isolation must be disabled and UPnP must be enabled). If that's not possible, is there an option for them to add the MAC Address of your mom's Google Nest Hub to the network?
Hope this helps.
Best,
Alex
