Clarifications to the constrained label selections, which don't adequately reflect the nature of the issue I'm posting about:
product: Chromecast Audio built-in (Google and OEM devices)
platform: any
issue category: speaker groups
The issues described in Answered: Having trouble with Speaker groups? Read this firs... - Google Nest Community are not resolved. The Community Manager has been neglecting the topic for ages - perhaps because of the two 7/24 posts that were marked as "answers".

This is beyond ridiculous. We should be able to cast and have speaker groups that work.

Google doesn't care. They're too big to care. They're worried about antitrust and not their customers.

Hey google, give me my money back if you wont fix the speakers you broke. This is ridiculous.

JBL I can return, but in terms of Nest I'm going to check the possibility of group lawsuit from EU consumers.

FYI. I shared this in a different thread. My 10+ speakers were a studdering stammering mess. Coming and going from my cast list. Failing to play.
Switching from Google Wifi mesh system - to Deco mesh.... and I have be working for almost 2 months now.

The Google Wifi mesh is not the only router with issues. I've got them on my eero6+ mesh. And it seems like the router should not introduce the issues we've been experiencing. I guess Deco users got lucky if our small sample is representative.
Just today I had to reset my stereo pair. It works longer than it used to and I only initiate play through Spotify on my iPhone.
