Hello,
I just bought and installed a Google Nest Hub. One of the reasons I chose a display version instead of the smaller assistants, is to use it as a photo frame. I have two special folders on my phone, which are synced with Dropbox, and all the members of my family can add photos there, and they immediately get downloaded to my phone (and computer). I would like to show these two local folders on the Nest.
Is there a way to do so? I wasn't able to find it. If I try to add an album on Google Photo, I only see auto-generated albums, or I can create a new album and manually add photos to it. But this is not what I need, I want it to just use that folder as the photo frame source (updating the album when someone adds a photo to the folder).
Can this be done? I.e. can there be an album on Google Photo that is kept synced with a folder on my phone? Or alternatively, can the Nest directly be linked to a remote folder on Dropbox, which is the same?
Thanks
Cristian

Thank you. I supposed it couldn't link with Dropbox, but I had hoped it could show the pictures in a folder on my phone. Thanks anyway!

Hi again,
Asking on the Google photos forum might get you some solutions? Otherwise it's quite easy to share a Google photos folder with others that can be automatically displayed on devices with screen's.

Hey Quaxo76,
Cathal_S Thanks for the help!
While you can choose from Google Photos, Art Gallery, Fullscreen clock and Experimental, Dropbox is not included on the list. We're always looking for ways and we'll take it as feedback.
I also suggest that you send feedback using your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback," or by following the steps on this link. Let me know if I can assist with anything else, otherwise I’ll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Best,
Alex
