Hi Tabshermes,
Thanks for reaching out to our Community.
For you to be able to cast music from your phone to your Google Nest speakers, you need to make sure that your phone is connected on the same Wi-Fi network where Google Nest speakers are connected. Also, when you play media in the Google Chrome browser on your PC, you can cast it to your Google Nest or Home speaker or display. This feature lets your speaker or display play music, audiobooks, or other media from services that aren't supported in the Google Home app.
Here are some ways to cast:
Option 1. From the Cast button
- If you haven't already, pin the Cast button to your Chrome toolbar.
- In your Chrome browser, open a website with the media you want to play.
- In the upper right corner of your browser, click the Cast button .
- Choose the speaker or display that you want to use.
- On the website, start the media. It will play on the speaker or display that you chose.
Option 2. From a Chromecast-enabled site
- In your Chrome browser, open a Cast-enabled site.
- Click the Cast button . You can usually find it near other media controls, like play, pause, and volume.
- Choose the speaker or display that you want to use.
- On the website, start the media. It will play on the speaker or display that you chose.
Option 3. From the Chrome Settings menu
- In your Chrome browser, open a website with the media you want to play.
- In the upper right corner of your browser, click the Chrome Settings menu Cast...
- Choose the speaker or display that you want to use.
- On the website, start the media. It will play on the speaker or display that you chose.
Option 4. From a webpage in Chrome
- In your Chrome browser, open a website with the media you want to play.
- Right click on the webpage Cast...
- Choose the speaker or display that you want to use.
- On the website, start the media. It will play on the speaker or display that you chose.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Princess
