Voice Activated Speaker Groups System is Busted

I have been working with "senior support" specialists, and nothing. Closest thing they have even attempted to latch onto being the issue, is saying it is the Nest Hub 2nd Gen. That's laughable.

Quick run down.

I started with:

Google Mini and Pixel Tablet on the base (voice activation for speaker group worked  for one day)

Pixel Tablet with two new Nest Speakers (voice activation for speaker group never worked)

Two Nest Speakers and no Pixel Tablet (voice activation for speaker group never worked)

Nest Hub 2nd Gen, two Nest Speakers, and one Pixel Tablet (voice activation for speaker group worked for two days!!! Woohoo!!!)

That was over a month ago. Since then... I have tried having my Wi-Fi network only be on 2.4ghz, disabled 5ghz. No change. Deleted and recreated speaker groups, no change. Deleted and retrained my voice in Google Home, no change. Created a speaker group with only one device, no change. Every single time, I get, "I'm sorry, something went wrong" when adding play on speaker group ______.

I can literally, create a speaker group of just one Nest Speaker, have all other devices out of ear shot, I can say directly to it, play music and it will play music. I tell it to stop playing music, and then tell it to play music on speaker group _______, and I get "I'm sorry, something went wrong." On the exact same speaker that was just worked! I can tell it to play music again, but without the words "on speaker group ______." It'll even say, "now playing, artist ______, on speaker group _____, I'm sorry, something went wrong." So it knows it is supposed to play the music on that speaker group, it identifies the speaker group, but it will not play the music via voice activation on that speaker group. I pick up my phone, and I go to YouTube Music app on my phone, I cast it to the speaker group, and it plays, on every speaker on the speaker group. But! With voice activation, "I'm sorry, something went wrong."

If you are looking at voice activation for speaker groups to be working on Google speaker ecosystem, best of luck, and best of luck getting a meaningful response from their support.
