Hi.
Have just setup a Google Nest Hub so we can use the voice dialling feature, the end user has sight issues.
Have added contacts as household contacts in the Google Home app but it only recognises a few. On others in the app they are greyed out and show the error:
"Important change to household calling.
Phone calling a contact will no longer work on your Google assistant-enabled home devices. You can still make calls using Google Duo or other compatible apps. You can learn more on Google Nest Help Centre."
The Nest Hub is brand new, have tried deleting contacts from Google (contacts.google.com), and then re-adding but still not working. Please advise.
UK based if this makes a difference.
Thanks in advance for any support.

Hi @UnaC,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties making phone calls using your Google Nest Hub 2nd gen. I understand how helpful this feature is, and it can be frustrating when it doesn't work as expected. Don't worry, I'm here to help.
Google-supported calling is only available in the US and Canada. Since you're in the UK, you can make calls using your Google Nest Hub by linking the Google Meet app to the Home app. You can find the steps to do this in the following article: Set up calling on your Google Nest speaker or display.
Please let me know if you have any questions from here, as I'd be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Regards,
Jonathan
