Voice match enabled, Nest Audio says it isn't

I am begging you all. Can you PLEASE start testing your updates more before you keep pushing updates that constantly, endlessly break things and make Google Home the most miserable smart home invested I've ever made. PLEASE. You HAVE to realize how bad this is hurting your business model. I am unbelievably close to being pushed to trashing all my Google devices and moving to a smart home platform that does it's one job without breaking and dictating how I am allowed to use my own products that I pay for.

 

I have voice match set up on my devices. I've disabled it, I've set it up again, I've re-enrolled my device many times, yet your home devices STILL dictate that I'm not allowed to listen to my podcasts because I don't have voice match set up.

Why. This was working fine, and I changed literally nothing. Can I stop Google Home from updating automatically? Because all you engineers do is break it. Constantly. It's already in a miserable broken state, yet you somehow only manage to make it worse every day.

Actually, after considering this further, this really is the last straw for me. I've realized how much worse Google Home has made my mental well-being ever since I bought it, with how unbelievably angering and frustrating trying to do the most unbelievably basic of things constantly is. I am done. Not with Home, with Google entirely. Once I format all these devices, I am trashing them and am deleting this account I've had active for 15 years. Your products are so miserably bad and frustrating to use I am sick of the stupid sunk cost fallacy forcing me to deal with your awful development.
