Hi, this question may be asked before but i cant find it. My question is that i have a google nest hub (2nd Gen) and i would like to buy google nest hub max to bring back to Malaysia. I know the voltage here in the US is different in MY. Can it still be use in Malaysia? does the warranty of purchase still valid in MY given i bought it in US?

Hi, @Chriz485!
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I understand you'd like to purchase a Google Nest Hub Max in the US and use it in Malaysia, and you're inquiring about warranty coverage in Malaysia. I'm happy to assist.
Regarding your first question, you can purchase the device in the US and use it in Malaysia. However, a voltage adapter compatible with Malaysia's 240V is required, as the US uses 120V. Using the wrong adapter could damage your Google Nest Hub Max.
Concerning your warranty inquiry, please be aware that Google's standard warranty for devices purchased in the US does not extend to Malaysia. A US physical address is required for any warranty replacement. Therefore, if you are located outside the US, warranty replacement cannot be facilitated, even if the device is within its warranty period.
If you would like to have your device covered by the warranty in Malaysia, I advise purchasing the device from a local retailer. This will facilitate a smoother replacement process if required.
Don’t hesitate to reply if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Ana
