Warranty claim -- appalling customer service

I bought a Google Nest Audio and it no longer works -- I can't even factory reset it. It is still covered by the warranty but it seems impossible to contact Google to activate this. Does anyone know how to do so? The "contact us" link just goes in a loop and doesn't actually give any contact details for those in the UK. I obtained a telephone number from Argos for customer support for Google but noone answers -- 0800 026 1217. This strikes me as very poor customer service from Google. Can anyone help please?

Sorry to hear about your experience. I know how important it is to have a working device when needed - we're here to help.

 

Please try these steps below:

 

  1. At the side of the Google Nest Audio speaker, unplug the power cord and wait for 10 seconds. Then plug it back in and wait until the 4 LED lights up on top.
  2. Repeat the first step, 10 more times.
  3. After you plug the power cord back in the final time, wait for the device to reset. The device announces "Welcome to Google Home" to signify that it's ready for setup.
