What a mess of a product. Please fix this as fast as possible

Hi, I just bought the nest hub (2.gen) and I'm a bit confused. I have three thing that i seriously makes me regret my purchase.

First, on the "your evening/morning" screen, I get lights, weather, calls, and "play relaxing sounds". Only two of these are useful. I can swip left and get more stuff, but for some reason my calendar is the last tile, behind some meditation stuff. There are seemingly no way of change this or rearrange it. That's plainly stupid. Why can't i change it? i personally don't care about meditation or relaxing sound. And the call function doesn't work in my country (Denmark) apparently. Had I known that I couldn't change anything on screen, I wouldn't had bought it. Its actually somewhat useless because of this.

Its the same with the screens or tabs. Most of them i don't need or the only include function that's doesn't work here in Denmark.

Second, my hub comes with app preload, which isn't available in Denmark like Pandora, Sling TV, YT TV, and for some reason the Netflix app in it doesn't work "in my region". We do have Netflix here and if i cast Netflix to it, it plays it perfectly. I can cast many of my streaming services like HBO Max, Yousee play, Prime and etc. but i would love not having to use my phone for this and just install the app, login, and watch.

Third, This may be a thing for Spotify and not google, but why can i only see suggest playlists when i open Spotify app? It would make so much more sens, if i could selected music from MY playlist or last played. And the group rooms thing doesn't work on the hub, it just loads and never connects.

I hope to see a BIG improvement soon, because this is the 2. gen and these problem are not even 1. gen problem. So.. for now its just a clock and light switch.

I'm not gonna return it, because I can see the potential.

Hello KristianBuckhoj,

Thanks for the post — we hear you. We're always looking for ways to improve and bring more features to different regions. Keep an eye out for news and updates.

Please note that Netflix in Denmark is supported on the Google Nest Hub (2nd gen). Make sure to link your Netflix account to the Google Home app first before using a voice command. Follow the steps below to know-how:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap account (your initial or your profile picture).
  3. Verify the Google Account on screen is the one linked to the speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap the down arrow icon  and then choose another account or Add another account .
  4. Tap  to close the Account window.
  5. Tap Settings > Add  > Service > Video.
  6. Choose a video streaming service, then tap LINK > LINK ACCOUNT.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Muddi

Hi again

Yes this is still relevant. I have tried Muddi's solutions and i still get a message when i click on the Netflix app. That Netflix isn't available i my region. Again casting works, just not the app.

I still can't rearrange the tiles on the screen. Which means i can't personalized the screen. So i have to see pointless stuff which is useless.

With Spotify i discover a new problem. If I am play music on my TV and then group the hub to that stream, then they both play, good. If i then ungroup the tv, then the hub restarts the Spotify app, pausing the music. I first thought that this was related to Spotify connect but if i group the two via the Spotify app i have no issue. If i do it via the hub or the home app, then the hub restarts the Spotify app. Therefore i seems to be a casting issue.

It not a big issues but a very weird issue.

Again, and I'm sorry to say this but this is the second generation and there are many small first generation issue. How is this possible?
