Hey all, the title about sums the issue up. I can cast my audio from Spotify to my nest mini while watching Rogan and it's super loud. However, if I'm watching a youtube video and cast the audio to the nest mini, It's beyond quiet. I can't hear anything over the fan in the bathroom, but the Spotify cast is extremely loud. Volume is at max. Any ideas why? I find it odd that Spotify works just fine, but Google's own YouTube doesn't. Any ideas how to boost the volume?

Hey Jebediah311,
Thanks for visiting the community.
Sorry for the delays. Please note that casting videos from YouTube is not supported on Google Home/Nest speakers. For now, you can only cast YouTube videos on Nest display devices. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take this as feedback and pass it along to the team. I also suggest that you send feedback using your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback," or by following the steps on this link.
As an alternative, you can pair your phone to your Google Nest Mini via Bluetooth. Visit this link to learn more.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Muddi

I got it, but that's not really a true statement. I can go into Google Home and select to cast my audio to that speaker and bring up youtube. Sometimes it's a fine volume and sometimes it has 0. It really should be a smoother process when you own youtube.

Hey Jebediah311,
We understand. The reason why you're having an issue casting YouTube to your Google Home speaker, is because it's not officially supported. For now, you can cast audio from a cast-enabled apps to your speakers, and video services like YouTube to Nest displays.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Muddi
