Why can’t my app recognize local networks is allowed?

Every time I try to connect to WiFi, it does then it says that it needs local network access. Okay. So I go to my settings and allow it. I return to the app and it still says it doesn’t allow it even though I just turned it on. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded that app. I’ve turned my local network access off and on multiple times. I’ve even tried using a different device and it still didn’t work. This is super frustrating and dumb so I hope there is a solution.

I'm sorry about my late response, thank you for your patience! Are you still experiencing this issue with your Google Home settings? If you are, I'd be happy to help you out, I'll just need to ask you some questions to understand what's happening:

• When did this issue first occur?
• What version of iOS are you running?
• Do you have a dual-band router? (2.4GHz and 5GHz)
• The other device you tried, was it also an iOS device?
