Why will nest not play sirius xm?

I have had no issues playing Sirius Xm thru my Nest and Nest speakers, until today. We would normally ask hey google, play deep tracks on home group and it would work. A few weeks ago, it would only work on Nest Home base speaker, not sure why the other 2 stopped?  Using the Google Home app,, I was able to turn on the other 2 speakers. Today, nothing would work upon command?  Sirius is not showing as available in radio tab, but it is linked? Would appreciate any feedback? I was able to cast from the sirus app on my phone to the Nest hub

To Play SiriusXM On Google Nest Devices:
Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Google Nest device.
Open the Google Home App and tap Media.
Under "Manage your system," tap Radio. Select SiriusXM and link your SiriusXM account.

Greetings,
Peter

Peter, Thanks for your response. Checked everything you mentioned and still nothing? I can cast to the Nest thru the SIRIUS or Pandora, I Heart app, but can't get voice to work? Will still give me weather, stock market etc when asked, but lost voice command everything else? Worked flawlessly for several years.

Hi folks,

@petergroft, thanks forhelping.

@Leafs64, this is not the experience we wanted you to have, let me help you. A few things: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes tops.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

You can also try the steps provided by one of our Community members, check out this link and tell me how it goes.

Best,

Dan

Hey Leafs64,

Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. To confirm, are you able to play music or Sirius XM when you ask one of your devices to play music for another speaker? Like when you use the command, "Hey Google, play music on <name of your speaker>"

Also, please provide the firmware version of your devices. Follow the steps below to know-how:

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. Tap Settings > Device information.
  4. Under "Technical information," check for Cast firmware: "X.XXX.XXXXX." If the device is on Fuchsia, check for System firmware version: "X.XXXXXXXX.X.XXXXXXX"

Keep us posted.

Cheers,
Muddi
