Why won't my Google Home Mini complete actions and routines?

I've tried using my smart lights, using a nighttime routine where it turns off my lights and sets an alarm, playing music, etc. It makes the wake up noise, waits for a response, and makes the completion noise, but doesn't do the action.

• When did this issue start happening?
• Does it happen with both routines and when you access the Google Assistant?
• Have you already tried any troubleshooting steps?
• Do you get any kind of error message?
