Will not play a podcast!

None of our Google home devices will play the podcasts we ask them to. They respond in the affirmative but then okay something else entirely. For example, I just asked for NPR's "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" podcast. I asked in ten different ways with increasing amounts of detail and the speaker will not do it. It responds "OK, playing Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me on Spotify" and then it proceeds to play a song called Chicken Shack by the Harmonica Blues Band?!? WTF is going on? It would be funny if it weren't so frustrating.

Thanks for posting in the community.  I completely understand how frustrating it must be to have trouble playing podcasts on your Google Nest devices. It's disappointing when you can't easily access your favorite content.

To better understand the issue could you please answer some questions: 
 

• Could you tell me a bit more about your Google Home devices? 
• Are they all having the same issue?
• Have you tried restarting them or resetting them to factory settings?

Also, have you tried asking for podcasts from different platforms, like Apple Podcasts or Google Podcasts? It would be helpful to know if the problem is specific to Spotify or a broader issue.
