I've pretty much said everything I wanted to say above in the subject

section.

It should work with most devices because on the remote control it's got a button that says 'Google Play' so to all intensive purposes it should work but it's either a system that's not come online yet or an idea that just failed, but you can download apps like the Google Browser etc.

So if anyone our there can help I might even send you a chocolate bar.

Hi there,

Yes a Roku device will work with some Google services.

YouTube is the one I know definitely works. 

Edit: I can cast from my Pixel phone (Google product) to my freinds Roku.
