Won’t play K-LOV (KLOVE) radio, why?

I have been able to listen to KLOV radio on my speaker forever! Now it will only play for 1 min and turns off. But other stations will play just fine. I have tried the following on all 3 of my speakers: forget device & added it back, factory rest, unplugged, as individual speakers and as a group. TuneIn will give me other stations or won’t play it. IHeart plays another station/doesn’t have it available. Why is this happening only with K-LOV (KLOVE) radio.?

I have gen 1 & gen 2 google mini/nest speakers. The issue started the beginning of December 2023.  iHeart radio gives me the country station from Texas as well. Yet, K-LOVE is listed as a station on the app/website. TuneIn plays the ads and then 30 seconds of the K-LOVE station and then stops playing. I have also tried listening to The Message on iHeart radio and it won’t play that either. Anything else that I ask for plays from both iHeart radio and TuneIn. What is the issue with Google and Christian stations?

I have same problem, and it plays the country music starting a month ago. I tried "Hey Google, play Klove on Tune In" and that worked.

Why will Google not play K-Love? I am reading all of these comments and it doesn't make sense to me. It seems that Google doesn't care about our issues with this. I have an Alexa and a Google Dot. Alexa has zero issues with this but for some reason Google refuses to play. I don't think that the admins at Google should be able to judge us on our listening choices. Why would Google not want to allow us to worship? I have done all of the troubleshooting suggestions and nothing has worked. Not really sure why Google is Religiously Discriminating the Christians of the world but I truly believe that this is an issue that needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY. If this issue continues I think I might just have to buy new Alexa devices and cancel my Google home app. and suggest that my Christian family does the same. I really wish that Google did not force our hand in this. This really upsets me to think that your devices refuse to let me worship God in my own home. I would really like a response to this but I doubt that I will receive one. good luck everyone. God Bless.

While i think Google might have a issue with some things (ever check your location timeline, does it ever show you being at church on your most visited places, give you a hint, it doesnt. It is my third most visited place usually during the week, after work and the convience store i stop for my morning coffee but never shows as visited)

Google follows most every other command to play (specific christian artist) on iHeartRadio no issues. The issue might be more an iHeartRadio issue than a google issue, or even a KLOVE issue because i found an article saying that CountryLegends 97.1 either is now a Klove station or used to be a Klove station and the switch came around November when issues started.

Agreed and standing in prayer with you! I have been a loyal Google customer forever! If this continues I will be changing all of my speakers, thermostats, doorbells, phones, search engines and accounts to another company.

This works! Thank you

Thank you SO much! When I would ask my Google Home to play KLOVE it would do some random country music station, but once I asked it to play the radio channel it’s on locally (FM 107.5) it worked!! Thank you!

It does make me think Google is anti GOD   When listening to them talk they are always talking about Alexa

You can also say "Play 88.9 from Raleigh" or any station on this list:
https://www.klove.com/music/station-finder/stations (Note you must use FM Stations, HD2 stations won't work.)

Updates. All the KLOVE decades stations play nicely on google home iHeart Radio. It is just KLOVE primary. Ended up setting my routine to play klove 2010s with no issue. The issue is probably something with Country Legends station being acquired by KLOVE in October '23.

devices used numerous google minis (gen 1) on several different networks. gen 1 google home. Command "Hey Google, Play Klove" (default player is iHeartRadio). Will also command "hey google, play Klove on IheartRadio" Will also use an automation sequence that plays music from Klove on default media player. All 3 of those lead to Country Legends.
