I've got my home location and my parents home location associated with my Google Home iOS app. I have a Home Hub at each location, and they are named differently to differentiate them. I set up a Workday routine to Play Music on my Hub. The "Device for Audio" has my Hub selected. Instead it plays on my parents Hub. We aren't even on the same WiFi.
How do I correct this? Only thing I can think to do is delete my parents location and devices, but they depend on me so much to manage the devices.
Google Home is both the most useful app, and the most buggy and frustrating.

Hi redpoint5,
Thanks for visiting the Google Nest Community.
I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s get this sorted out. To confirm, there are 2 separate Home structures in the Google Home app for your Google Home devices and your parents’, correct? Is the Workday routine previously working fine? Were there any recent changes you made in your Google Home account?
I’ll look forward to your response.
Regards,
Alex

Correct, 1 Google Hub at my parents location, and 1 Google Hub at my location. The workday routine is set to run at my location, on my device.
Maybe I need to set a routine at my parents house to get it to play here?
This has never worked correctly in the 2+ years I've had it configured. It consistently plays at my parents instead of here. My mom thinks I was being thoughtful to play music every morning for her, but it's just a Google bug.

Nothin huh? This is a community where problems go to fester? I'm not the only one to experience this Google bug. Speaks volumes about Google "support", which doesn't exist. They outsource to no-knothings in the hope you'll give up hope.

Hello redpoint5,
Apologies for the late revert.
Have you tried to deactivate and then reactivate this Workday routine you set? Or removing all the actions, and then re-add them. Also, is creating a scheduled personal routine exhibits the same behavior? Try this:
Kind regards,
Alex

Hi there,
I wanted to follow up and see if you are still in need of any help. Have you had the chance to try the suggestion above? If yes, how is it?
Sincerely,
Alex
