I have a nest mini in my home that reports the wrong place when I ask "where am I". The incorrect information is for a place I've never been hundreds of miles from my home. I have factory reset the device multiple times. When I reached out to google support they asked me to correct my address in the google home app (multiple times). The address in the home app has always been correct, so any change I make would make it wrong.
I have multiple other google devices in the same home that work fine.
Is there any way to fix this?

My solution was to factory reset every single device, including the google wifi they all connect to. That solved the issue but it was an unpleasant process to go through.
Another thought to hopefully save you that misery : when I look at device information in the home app now it tells me that not all of my devices are using my home address and gives me the option to set them all to the home address. I'm not touching that option with a 10 ft pole since it's working correctly at the moment, but I would have tried it back then.
To be clear, in the home app tap a device and the click the gear icon on the top right. Tap device information, then device address. That is where I got an option to set everything to the same address.
The home app is an absolutely miserable experience.
